Addressing “No-shows” & “late cancellations”


Our Paratransit service thrives on a partnership model, involving not just us at MTA, but also the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), and importantly, you, our rider. This collaborative effort is the cornerstone of our commitment to providing top-notch transportation solutions.


“No-shows” and “late cancellations” (cancellations made less than two hours before the scheduled pickup) have become a serious problem. These actions disrupt our service and affect our ability to serve you and other riders who depend on us. To ensure our service remains fair, affordable, and efficient for everyone, we are addressing the issue of repeated no-shows and late cancellations in lieu of service privilege suspensions. We kindly ask for your cooperation in this matter. It’s important for us to work together to keep our services running smoothly for all riders. You’re understanding and cooperation in minimizing no-shows and late cancellations are crucial.
