RE: Bus Driver Training Simulator
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) is requesting services for the purpose of furnishing and installing a Bus Driver Training Simulator.

Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTA’s Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax. You must be Licensed and Bonded, provide a Certificate of Workman’s Compensation, and W-9 documents. Bidders must provide their own tools and equipment.
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority wishes to purchase a Simulator to aid in day to day Driver Training. Vendors wishing to bid on this project should request a copy of the Proposal
Request Document. Everything required to bid on this project will be included. To request a Bid Package please email Celestial Yates at cyates@mta-mac.com. Final bids must be received by her in the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority office at 2737 Broadway, by 4:30P.M. on May 6th, 2024. Every bid packet MUST include all documents outlined in the RFP to be a valid submission and considered for this project. The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is requesting reflooring and minor drywall repair of the administration building at 2737 Broadway in Macon, GA 31206.

Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTA’s Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax. You must be Licensed and Bonded, provide a Certificate of Workman’s Compensation, and W-9 documents. Bidders must provide their own equipment.

Please contact Celestial Yates by email for a full list of measurements and expectations. If you would like to schedule a walk-through, please submit a request by Wednesday April 3, 2024. Walk-throughs will be scheduled for either Monday, April 8, 2024, or Tuesday April 9, 2024, at 10 AM, unless otherwise arranged. Any additional questions must be submitted by Tuesday April 16, 2024, by 4 PM for an addendum that will be released on Friday, April 19, 2024. No other questions will be accepted after this date.

Final bids must be received in a sealed envelope at the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority office at 2737 Broadway, by 4:00 P.M. on Friday April 26, 2024.

The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is requesting bids and proof of qualifications for an Architectural Consultant.

Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTA’s Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax. You must be Licensed and Bonded, provide a Certificate of Workman’s Compensation, and W-9 documents. Bidders must provide own equipment.

The terms shall be as follows:

The selected A/E shall furnish all expertise, labor and resources for complete design and construction period services for any project as may be needed by the Authority. The following generally highlights the services that the A/E will be required to perform:

  1. Refine, clarify, and define the Agency’s project description, data, and requirements
  2. Respond to all comments and resolve outstanding design issues at the various phases
  3. Provide complete construction contract documents with professional seals and signatures in accordance with all city, county, state, and federal guidelines
  4. Assure that the construction contract documents comply fully with all applicable codes and regulations
  5. Provide specifications which reflect current requirements, standards, and product availability.
  6. Prepare A/E cost estimates for the project.
  7. Provide services for the construction phase, as required for the administration of the contract.
