RE: Bus Driver Training Simulator
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) is requesting services for the purpose of furnishing and installing a Bus Driver Training Simulator.
Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTA’s Worker’s Compensation Insurance and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax. You must be Licensed and Bonded and provide a Certificate of Workman’s Compensation and W-9 documents. Bidders must provide their own tools and equipment. The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority wishes to purchase a Simulator to aid in day-to-day Driver Training. Vendors wishing to bid on this project should request a copy of the Proposal Request Document. Everything required to bid on this project will be included. *There will be a checklist of all documents that MUST accompany each Vendors Bid Package to be a valid submission and considered for this project.

Property Maintenance
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is requesting Landscaping Services for the purpose of keeping its premises properly maintained.
Bidders must be independent contractors, provide own equipment, and have completed W-9 documents.
The terms shall be for (2) years from the date of when the services are scheduled to begin. Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority or Landscaping Company shall give written notice of termination at least thirty days (30) per non-performance.
An official walkthrough of the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority’s locations can be scheduled via email (cyates@mta-mac.com) on either November 1st or 8th at 10 A.M. – All bids must be received on paper in the office addressed below by 1 P.M. on November 13th, 2023.
Bids will be evaluated on November 14th, 2023.

The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) is accepting bids for LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES to maintain all the following properties:
I. Terminal Station & Transfer Station campus: 200 Cherry Street
II. Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority campus: 2737 Broadway
III. Vacant lot: 520 Fifth Street
IV. Plum on Fifth Street parking lot: 615 Fifth Street
TERMS
1. Bidders must be an independent contractor, provide their own equipment, and complete W-9 documents.
2. Bidders must be bonded and insured.
3. The contract shall be for two (2) years from the date service begins.
4. Either MTA or the landscape company may terminate the contract with at least 30 days notice.
WALKTHROUGH
An official walkthrough of the four (4) MTA locations will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, AND Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Please choose one of those dates and meet outside the main entrance of the Terminal Station—no RSVP needed.
BIDS & CONTRACT AWARD
• All bids must be received on paper in the office addressed below by 1 P.M. on Monday, December 4, 2023.
• Bids will be evaluated on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
• Contract will be awarded by Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
• Contract/work is expected to begin Monday, December 20, 2023 and run through January 1, 2026.
