Meet Bibb County Sgt. Pam Williams who escorted Alfred to the Terminal Station in her patrol car AND the man selected as Alfred’s permanent operator — Vernon Franklin. Sgt. Williams works part-time on MTA’s security detail at the Transfer Station We’re proud of both of these fine people & are grateful for their service. Mr. Franklin was asked to drive the bus to the Terminal Station for the press conference and was surprised by Operations Manager JoAnn Lamb and MTA CEO Craig Ross, that Alfred would be in his care. Congratulations Vernon!!
