It takes a team of people to operate the MTA, and every person and every job is important. We pride ourselves on our fleet.
MTA has replaced 19 buses in the past two-and-a-half years — and eight buses this year alone. So every day, when the routes are complete, we have a team of workers who wash, sweep, wipe and sanitize each bus, in addition to the high power disinfectant spray every bus gets nightly.
