Gotta love MTA bus operators. Six days a week they transport people all over Macon-Bibb County. And that job was made a lot harder with COVID, but they persevere, sanitizing their bus each time they start a shift, and sanitizing again after each round trip and wiping high touch areas. It’s not easy wearing a mask all day, but they do it to protect themselves and all of our passengers.

We don’t ask our passengers to do anything we don’t do. Masks and temperature checks have been our policy since the start of the pandemic.

Here’s a peek at some of our hard-working drivers who get Macon where it’s going. And after a shift, our bus washers, like elves, give the buses a exterior bath and disinfect the interior to ensure that riding with MTA is as safe as possible. Watch one in action!
