The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) is delighted to add two new Paratransit buses to the fleet. Each of the 2019 E-450 super duty buses, made by Bus Center of Atlanta, has seating for 10 passengers sitting in seats and two sitting in wheelchairs.

MTA Safety and Training Manager Darrell Lester said, “Given the wear and tear on our Paratransit buses it was time for new ones. These buses feature several cameras that provide an extra layer of efficiency and security and are a great safety feature. If an incident occurs, we view the tape to determine exactly what occurred.”

MTA CEO Craig Ross adds, “These buses are part of our continuing effort to maintain a modern fleet that our passengers can count on day in and day out. We’re looking forward to putting these new buses on the road in January.”
