MTA conducted its monthly board meeting in the Morris Cohen conference room at the Terminal Station.
Topics included the results of the MTA board retreat, and an update on the expected delivery of electric Paratransit buses. Completed and new initiatives discussed:
1. Results of 41 Days of Free to boost ridership and help people deal with high gas prices.
2. (Bibb) Teen Summer Bus Pass
3. Renaming of Bellevue route to Bellevue/Kroger and extending the route on Zebulon Road 1/2 mile to the Rescue Mission which now includes Lake Wildwood, the Rescue Mission, Ansley Village Apartments, and numerous other people who live and/or work on Zebulon Road.
