SCOPE of WORK
1. Expand two (2) sections of current office each by 7.2 feet in length by 9.8 feet in width.
2. Remove a total of 14 seats. 74 seats would remain.
3. Relocate fire alarm panel.
4. Adjust/move light fixtures in ceiling.
5. Adjust/move air-conditioning return.
6. Replace ceiling tiles.
Panels used for expansion rather than additional glass.
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is requesting RENOVATION SERVICES for the purpose of EXPANDING ITS CURRENT DISPATCH OFFICE. The dispatch office is in MTA’s Transfer Center at the Terminal Station Building at 200 Cherry Street, Macon, GA, 31201.
Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTA’s Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax.
You must be Licensed and Bonded, provide a Certificate of Workman’s Compensation Insurance, and W-9 documents.
Bidders must provide own equipment.
The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority wishes to expand the width of the current office 6-8 feet each way. Vendors wishing to bid on this project should schedule a time with Andy Stroud, Facilities Director.
An official walkthrough of the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority Transfer Center can be scheduled no later than February 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Final bids must be received by 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022.
